With free agency now mostly behind us, the focus turns to the 2020 NFL Draft. There are always a handful of late offseason signings, cuts, and trades. Generally speaking, though, the Draft is the last opportunity most teams have to improve their roster for the upcoming season.
I would say this year's Draft is very important for the Jets, but the Draft is always important. This will be Joe Douglas' first one running the Jets. He, of course, was hired after last year's Draft. The Jets are currently a team short on young talent, which helps to explain their long postseason drought. This year is another opportunity to change the trajectory of the franchise and bring an infusion of the young talent necessary to win in the NFL.On today's podcast I offer some thoughts on how I think the Jets should approach the Draft and some pitfalls to avoid.
