Today's podcast was supposed to be the Thursday mailbag, but the Jets had other plans. The team announced the firing of offensive coordinator John Morton on Wednesday. There had been rumblings of the team's dissatisfaction with the offensive coordinator for a few weeks so this was not a total surprise. The Jets did go two and a half weeks from the end of the season without making a change, however, so one could be forgiven for expecting Morton to be safe.
