The Jets fell to 4-6 on Sunday in a 35-27 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The team did not get the boost it was hoping for coming out of the bye. Instead what the Jets got was a fifth loss in six games.
On today's podcast we break down what went wrong. There is plenty of blame to go around. Josh McCown again played poor situational football. Austin Seferian-Jenkins left plays on the field. The offensive line broke down at a key moment. So did the punt coverage team. The defense got some praise from others observers, but the unit won't get any on today's podcast. The unit benefited from an erratic Cam Newton. One small silver lining was that the worst thing in the game had nothing to do with the Jets. It was the television announcing. We have some things to say about that.In one of the few positive developments from the game, a young player for the Jets continues to show progress so we take a few minutes to celebrate Robby Anderson.
Ultimately, though, the Jets let another game get away in frustrating fashion. What does this mean for the big picture. You will have to tune in to hear our take.Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
