The team now knows for certain it will not be in the Playoffs in 2017, which leaves the Jets playing spoiler against a team with everything on the line. At the very least, the Jets can look to improve their Christmas Eve record. The day before Christmas has not been kind to this franchise recently, including last year's blowout loss to the Patriots.
