With most offseason moves completed, it is time to take stock of where the Jets are. Yesterday our podcast examined the positions where the Jets have improved most in the offseason. Today we are going to take a look at the positions where the team still has work to do.
There wasn't much of a chance the Jets were going to be able to fill all of their needs in one offseason. Building this roster is going to take longer. It still is plausible the Jets could further upgrade their roster between now and the start of the 2018 season. There is the occasional summer transaction. A player might wear out his welcome with another team. There could be a contract dispute of some sort. A team might just decide to go in a different direction. With that said, the vast majority of moves are now done. If you are able to upgrade a spot after this point, you are lucky. With that in mind, our focus is on positions that are still incomplete for the Jets.
