Are LeBron James (and Klutch) Feuding with Rob Pelinka and the Lakers? - a podcast by Locked On Podcast Network, Anthony Irwin

All-Star weekend was quite eventual for LeBron James on a couple of fronts. First, he crushed the game itself, hitting a game-winner and putting on a show for his (sort of) hometown fans. But man alive, did he also spend those 72 hours making waves between him and the Lakers. Having already cultivated, through leaks and pointed social posts, a narrative of discontent over a dormant trade deadline, LeBron spent the weekend dropping hints that other franchises are better run or more appealing than his own. Execs like Sam Presti (OKC) and Koby Altman (Cleveland) were praised lavishly. The door for another return to Cleveland was presented as still open. The goal of playing with his son Bronny, WHEREVER he lands, was explicitly reiterated. All of this was clearly meant to make the Lakers nervous about a potential separation, either when his contract ends next season... or even earlier. Dude is not happy about the Lakers being a nine-seed, and wants to make sure everyone knows this.... especially Rob Pelinka.
So how did the Lakers (and by extension, Klutch Sports) get here? Who bears the most blame? Is LeBron conveniently ignoring his own role in this mess? And would it really be a disaster if this relationship ended earlier than expected? All these questions... and many, many, more... are tackled.

Hosts: Andy and Brian KamenetzkySegment 1: LeBron spends All-Star weekend passive-aggressively criticizing the Lakers.

Segment 2: How Did the Lakers end up here, and how much blame does Pelinka deserve?Segment 3: Is it really the worst thing in the world if LeBron wanted to leave the Lakers?
