Do the Lakers Have a Problem at Center (and Can Austin Reaves Help Solve it)? Plus, Dwight Howard Gets Disrespected! - a podcast by Locked On Podcast Network, Anthony Irwin

24 hours removed from Sunday's victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, there's still a lot to unpack for the Lakers with this victory. In part because the next six games (San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Cleveland, Houston, Houston AGAIN, Oklahoma City AGAIN) constitute a slate of very winnable contests (and given the bloodbath that is the west, no opportunities should ever go wasted). But also because, well, questions remain. For example, how should Frank Vogel slot undrafted rookie (and emerging fan favorite) Austin Reaves into the rotation, as he continues to make good on his increasing minutes? Who are the best players to place him alongside? Could he perhaps start games, if for no other reason than...
It would mean going small with Anthony Davis at center, which would presumably remove DeAndre Jordan from the rotation, which would absolutely make fans happy. But has their scrutiny of Jordan gotten out of hand? In Andy's opinion, Jordan has caught more heat for what he represents (the obstacle standing in the way of AD at the 5) rather than his actual play, which has been largely neutral (if still unimpressive) and fairly inconsequential. Case in point, the ire directed at Jordan has allowed Dwight Howard's underwhelming play fly under the radar because he's just the backup. Truth be told, neither guy has distinguished himself particularly well over the opening three games.Still, it goes without saying that Howard remains a future first ballot Hall of Famer. Or maybe that does require voicing, since his failure to make the NBA's new Top 75 Players of All Time list feels quite personal. And frankly, wrong. Howard's personality is quite understandably not for everyone, but that shouldn't change how people should respect his credentials.

HOSTS: Andy and Brian KamenetzkySEGMENT ONE: A look at a series of very winnable games for the Lakers, and where Reaves could fit into a potential formula for victories.

SEGMENT TWO: DeAndre and Dwight's minutes, and how much they're hurting. (Or at t very least, not tangibly helping much.)SEGMENT THREE: Why Dwight is right to feel disrespected by his omission from the NBA's new Top 75 list.
