Malik Monk, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook Lead the Lakers to a Huge OT Win Over the Miami Heat - a podcast by Locked On Podcast Network, Anthony Irwin

For a second straight game, the Lakers found themselves in overtime, and for the the second straight game they found a way to get a win. In this case, it was against a very good Miami Heat team, which made the absences of Rajon Rondo and Austin Reaves (on top of LeBron James, et al) even more of a potential obstacle to conquer. And the overall performance wasn't perfect. But it was also often quite good on both sides of the ball, and featured strong performances from Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, Avery Bradley, and especially Malik Monk, who led the team in scoring with 27 points off the bench.
After the win, Frank Vogel and several players noted how last Saturday's horrendous, disengaged loss to the Trail Blazers forced everyone to take a long look in the mirror and honestly assess some problems. A two-game winning streak doesn't mean everything's been fixed, and however great these Lakers can be, that level won't arrive until they have a full roster. What can be controlled until then, however, is their effort and attitudes. It was reassuring (not to mention, fun) to see a better version of both on display.In the meantime, these Lakers are now 3-0 in overtime. (Insert shrug emoji.)
