Finland prevailed 2-1 to book their spot in the Gold Medal Game, and it took a shootout and great goaltending from Ivan Fedotov to get past Sweden. Then we talk broadcasting and how the NBC team did in calling hockey this Olympics. Monique Lamoureaux- Morando, Aaron Murphy&Sami Jo Small were standouts in the booth. We also discuss ways to improve the coverage, especially in women’s hockey, to provide more context for the players themselves and not relate the women’s game strictly in how it relates to the men’s game.
