The Tampa Bay Rays were not able to get the series win against the Cleveland Guardians at the Trop after splitting the first 2 games but dropping Sunday’s affair 5-3. Although the Rays had their ace and Cy Young frontrunner Shane McClanahan, the Guardians were able to get to him with soft contact, including well placed bunts and bloopers all around the field. The offense had its chances but their 2022 base running mistakes saw those chances disappear.
