A few hours before the Phoenix Suns were scheduled for tip-off against the Grizzlies, the NBA world was hit with the shocking news of the death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna. We give our initial thoughts on their passing.
Then we recap the Suns’ weekend road trip, including a win in San Antonio and a loss in Memphis, in which the Suns were hampered by foul trouble and ineffective offense. Ugly games aren’t going the Suns’ way as much as they did early in the season.
Still, Devin Booker continues to dazzle, despite the loss of his idol on Sunday.
