As playoff hopes dwindle, trade rumors are heating up. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Phoenix and Detroit are at an impasse on a trade for combo guard Luke Kennard. Protections on a future first-round draft pick seem to be the sticking point.
Meanwhile, a surprising name popped up as a possible trade candidate: None other than Suns starting small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. was mentioned by The New York Times’ Marc Stein in a report Wednesday afternoon which said the Suns are fielding trade calls on Oubre.
