Don traces his journey from a Chicago law firm started by the only surviving son of Abraham Lincoln to the Deep South of Alabama in an effort to overturn a Death Penalty conviction.

Donald Cameron Clark, Jr., Esq. is a renaissance man who believes in the power of storytelling, whether to a jury, in a theater, or to his grandchildren. He believes that history shapes the present and informs the future. And like a good Scotsman, there burns alive in him an identity with his forebearers, even to the twentieth generation.

His legal practice focuses on high-stakes trials and religious liberty jurisprudence. He established the constitutional right of clergy to solemnize same-sex marriages in North Carolina and reversed the conviction of an Alabama death row inmate. He advocates for people facing significant legal challenges. Clients value his confidence, strategic thinking, and calming presence.
