Kevin Harper, Tony Murray and James Cunliffe return for a BUMPER April edition of the Luton Town Supporters' Trust podcast.

This is the first full podcast the boys have done since Newlands Park was given planning permission so, even though they recorded some instant reaction on the night, the boys take a considered look at the historic decision, while a stunning month on the pitch that saw Luton equal a club record of 27 games unbeaten.

The Hatters extended their lead at the top of League One to seven points clear with 6 games to go.

The records kept racking up as Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu marked his 200th appearance for the club, a stint which included both of Town’s 27 game unbeaten runs. He’s in line to become the first Luton player to win three promotions with the club, so the boys discuss whether or not he can be considered a club legend.

Talking of stats, Simon Pitts is back with his regular rundown of all the big ones.

And statistically speaking (probably) this has to be one of the most difficult campaigns to pick a player of the season, but the trio make their choices.

And on the tenth anniversary of the club’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy triumph, there’s so much more to get through, including the recollections of manager then and now, Mick Harford.

All in all it has been another incredible month for the club.

The running order is:

  • Newlands Park reaction

  • March matches review

  • Lua Lua player focus

  • Pelly player focus

  • Collins player focus

  • Player of the Season

  • Simon’s Stats

  • Rest of season preview

  • JPT anniversary

  • Trust talk
