Why do you do what you do?

Have you ever asked yourself this very question?

Have you ever investigated the neural and psychological mechanisms that govern your brain, and as a consequence your mind and which determine every decision you make?

If you haven’t, this episode of the podcast will provide you with newly found scientific evidence that the brain is first and foremost an organ and that by understanding it, and by taking care of it will help you in many ways to make better decisions for your life.

Never before in history has humanity known more about neuroscience and the reason I am addressing this topic over and over again in the podcast, if because I’ve realised this is a field of science that anyone can and should gain access to to improve their life, their business, and their relationships with stakeholders, clients, and other human beings.

I was very fortunate to come across the book of today’s guest, Helena Boschi, titled “Why we do what we do” because it’s an accessible, yet comprehensive, guide which opened my eyes, and made me see faults, biases, but also new routes I can take to improve my reasoning, my decision making, and the health of my brain.

Helena started her journey in neuroscience and psychology after many years in the corporate world, and this experience makes her a pragmatic researcher, and a very understandable author, something rare in a world often confined within academic borders.

Have a listen!
