Artist Iain Dean talks with LWAG Director Professor Ted Snell on his work, including a new piece, 'We are Crumbs', commissioned for INSIDE/OUT, a series of artworks for the LWAG's south-facing windows celebrating its 30th anniversary. A selection of Dean's work from 2017-2020 was also featured in 'The Long Kiss Goodbye', LWAG's 2020 Perth Festival exhibition.

Iain Dean is a Perth-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, sculpture and ceramics. His work is held in public and private collections across Australia and has been widely exhibited nationally and internationally in Denmark, Sweden, Paris and New York.

Professor Ted Snell, AM CitWA, is Director of the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery. He has published widely and curated many exhibitions and has contributed to the national arts agenda as Chair of the Visual Arts Board and Chair of University Art Museums Australia.
