Bob Miller served as a naturopath for 20 years, and earned his naturopathic degree from Trinity School of Natural Health.

In 2015 Bob Miller was inspired to start examining chronic lyme disease, and he founded NutriGenetic Research Institute to research and publish reports on the relationship between genetic variants, labs and presenting symptoms.

In 2016 he won an award at the european ILADS conference for his research into the genetic variants in those with lyme disease.
