Sharon Whiteman is the CEO of Lyme Disease Association of Australia, and a triple certificate clinical nurse. Sharon has worked in the field of health and wellness for almost 40 years. She was an Intensive Care Unit nurse for 20 years.

She has been part of the Lyme Disease Association of Australia since it was founded in 2009, whose goals are to advocate for sick individuals, facilitate best practices, and educate both medical communities and the Australian public about tick-born disease in Australia.
