In this episode you will learn three main things:

• Learn about Sharon’s RCXX theory and how these genes contribute to chronic illness
• When ‘adrenal fatigue’ is not the correct diagnosis
• How all these different symptoms suggest a greater susceptibility to Mast Cell Activation Syndrome

Sharon Meglathery is a board certified Psychiatrist who has practiced in Arizona since 2005. She was also board certified in Internal Medicine, and completed residencies for both at Drexel University, as well as interning at Duke University Medical Center.

In 2009 Sharon fell ill with mast cell activation (MCAS), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS, and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). In researching what might be causing her symptoms, she discovered a set of genes that she believes cause greater susceptibility to stress and inflammation.
