Could there be anything more interesting than a “Love Lab”? I’m talking about a scientific study on LOVE. How cool is that? I know what you’re thinking….”Sign me up. I want to be part of it even if I don’t know what it is.” Let me tell you what this awesome lab is all about. It rose to fame when Malcolm Gladwell featured it in his wildly successful book Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking. The book is about people that are masters of a particular field at such a high level that they can see things that others miss in a very short amount of time. The claim to fame from the book Blink is that the “Love Lab” can predict in less than fifteen minutes whether a couple will stay together or divorce with a 90% accuracy. That is amazing! They are not shooting from the hip either. They are getting all kinds of data from the couples that goes far beyond what anyone else has ever done. The “Love Lab” is stepping up it’s game even more, taking it to a whole new level and we have one of the key people behind this huge step forward.

On today’s show we interview Carrie Cole. Carrie Cole is the Director of Research for The Gottman Institute and a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington.
