Samantha gets a vacuum cleaner as a present and rides a horse with it. As she's cleaning up messes the vacuum cleaner turns into a real penguin and she takes a cold bath with it. They find a plant that grows special fruit that tastes like candy, and bring it back for all her friends. The penguin becomes her pet.
