David Baker, author, speaker and advisor of entrepreneurial experts, joins us on this episode of the Making Bank podcast! Today, he discusses the three mistakes that successful entrepreneurs make, the patterns of behavior that lead CEOs to hate their businesses, and why you should question everything.  

Having been raised in a remote village of Mayan Indians as his parents were missionaries, David Baker learned how to be resourceful, flexible and investigative. He moved back to the US at 18 and spent time navigating the pop culture he did not understand. His unique childhood, however, left him with an innate sense of intellectual curiosity, which he then applied to his career. Through a series of concerted actions and dumb luck, David found himself advising other businessowners in a peer-to-peer fashion. This launched a 25-year career of advising experts in their field on how they can show and properly manage their businesses. He has been called “the experts’ expert” and relays his knowledge in his books. His fifth book, “The Secret Trade Craft of $1M Advisors” is coming out soon and is a must read for any top consultant.
