Fotografia de Skate Año con año crece cada vez mas la cultura de skate en Costa Rica. Y durante muchos años varios fotógrafos en el país se han dedicado a cubrir este movimiento de una manera constante y meticulosa. Estableciendose relaciones muy cercanas entre patinadores y fotografos. Algunas publicaciones relacionadas con skate en Costa Rica, tienen incluso un impacto importante fuera del pais. 

A diferencia de lo que pudieran pensar las mayorias. Existen en Costa Rica, varios fotografos, con historias muy diferentes y puntos de vistas muy particulares con respecto a las patinetas en nuestro pais. Que vienen documentando la escena skate tica, desde hace decadas, literalmente. Lo que ha creado un banco de imagenes muy rico e interesante, en donde podemos ver la evolucion de varias generaciones a traves del skateboarding. Las diferentes influencias que han tenido a lo largo del tiempo. 

Mas recientemente, es interesante poder observar como la propia escena, inicia un proceso de influencia ó escuela, si podemos llamarlo de esa manera osbre las nuevas generaciones. La fotografia de skate, es importante en nuestro pais, no solamente se trata de capturar las piruetas de los patinadores. Forma parte de una cultura, que al menos en Costa Rica ha creado una escena con muchas historias que aun no han sido expuestas a un grupo diferente de personas, que no sean patinadores. Una de las razones que nos llevan a crear este pequeño clip. 

Year after year the culture of skateboarding in Costa Rica grows more and more. And for many years several photographers in the country have been dedicated to covering this movement in a constant and meticulous way. Establishing very close relationships between skaters and photographers. Some publications related to skateboarding in Costa Rica, even have an important impact outside the country. Unlike what most would think. There are several photographers in Costa Rica, with very different stories and very particular points of view regarding skateboards in our country. That they have been documenting the ethical skate scene, for decades, literally. What has created a very rich and interesting image bank, where we can see the evolution of several generations through skateboarding. 

The different influences they have had over time. More recently, it is interesting to be able to observe how the scene itself begins a process of influence or school, if we can call it that way over the new generations. Skate photography is important in our country, it's not just about capturing skaters' pirouettes. It is part of a culture, which at least in Costa Rica has created a scene with many stories that have not yet been exposed to a different group of people, other than skaters. One of the reasons that lead us to create this little clip.
