Cobb County Schools lost another educator this week, as 29-year-old Teco Browning, a teacher and assistant football coach at Osborne High School, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Jan. 20th. In February, a grand jury will decide whether to bring charges against the unnamed Cobb police officer who shot and killed 17-year-old Vincent Truitt. Cobb County Schools reported numerous new confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the district this week. The district does not state how many infections are in students or staff. Cookie Co. celebrated the grand opening of its Smyrna brick-and-mortar Saturday, selling out of just about everything by 7 p.m. Aleks Gilbert sits down with Wellstar's Dr. Danny Branstetter, to give you a local Cobb Covid update!
