Karli Chudeau joins the MCCH Crew to discuss some interesting facts about Harbor Seals. Karli is a Ph.D. student at the University of California - Davis and is doing her work on Pinnipeds. Her work involves one of her favorite types of Pinnipeds, the Harbor Seal.
Karli tells the MCHH crew about their interesting pup rearing characteristics that make them quite unique from other Pinnipeds. She talks about how long it takes them to swim and compares them to elephant seal rearing strategies.
