Summary: Jesus calls all of us, just like he did with Peter, to put our boat out into "the deep waters". Too often, however, our tendency is to remain in the shallow end -- where things are safe and familiar. Our life in Christ is to be found when we enter deeply into his mission for our lives. This means taking a risk, jumping into the deep end by faith. It is only through His Grace, that we can obtain the strength to live out our lives according to his will.
