Summary: Galatians 2:20 teaches us "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." Our Baptism is just the beginning of a life fully lived in Christ. Christianity is not just some great "idea", but is true life itself --- an encounter with a person! As such, our appropriate response to Christ and even the Mass itself -- should be as active participants, not passive spectators.
