Summary: Lesson #5 from Jesus comes today: The destination of our Earthly pilgrimage is resurrection and eternal life in Heaven.
It can be very easy to lose sight of our hoped-for destination. When we lose sight or forget about it, that’s when we can make wrong decisions. That’s when we are tempted to choose false things, to settle for things that are less than Heaven. Each year, our Lenten Pilgrimage comes along to help us turn back to God and set our sights anew on our hoped-for destination of resurrection and eternal life with God in Heaven.
