Summary: This Sunday: "Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe", marks the last day of the liturgical year just before Advent, and is the culmination of the entire gospel story -- from his birth, crucifixion, resurrection and finally his glorification.
This feast day reminds us that Christ is supposed to be King and ruler of every aspect of our lives -- not just what we do on Sunday, but each day of the week: In our families, our work lives, and all of our interactions. Our faith in Christ is not just a private activity, it is a public reality that infuses our whole being.
