Theme: This reading in Matthew 18 is part of a larger discourse by Jesus on the Church. In today's text, Jesus tells us how we are to approach others whom we might have a conflict with, or who we feel might need to be restored. Even in the worst of conflicts, our desire should always be first and foremost about reconciliation and restoration of that person -- never destruction of the person.
