This activity is targeted toward primary care and geriatric healthcare providers and advanced providers. 

 

This podcast will provide an overview of the symptoms and diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia (TN). Additionally, the medical and surgical treatment options will be discussed, including their indications and effectiveness. Providers may not be aware of the latest diagnostic and treatment guidelines. This podcast will provide the latest information related to TN for providers. 

 

At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: 

1. Discuss and define trigeminal neuralgia and classifications 

2. Describe the clinical manifestations and diagnosis for trigeminal neuralgia.
