Target Audience            

This activity is targeted toward primary care specialties.

 

Providers may not be aware of the latest recommendations regarding screenings and preventative measures for female patients.  The Women's Preventative Services Initiative, has created a Well-Women Chart that summaries preventative health services for women from adolescence across the life-span.  Providers may be unaware of this resource.  This task force has concluded that clinical preventative services are generally underused.

 

 

At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:

• Identify the latest preventative care and screening guidelines in women's health.
• Review updates in cancer screenings and prevention.
• Discuss the importance of patient education and the patients’ role in their overall wellness.
