The light mantra and it’s meaning
Few mantras are as powerful as the Mantra of Light. This mantra cleanses the soul, mind, and body from negativity, ignites strong healing powers, and can create a deep connection to the divine. You can actively activate the light body process, bring about a powerful transformation, and develop grace, compassion, and unconditional love.
A Mantra of Shiva

The Light Mantra was given to the Maha Yogi Swami Ramalingam in a direct Darshan by Shiva himself. With this mantra Ramalinga Swami reached the highest level of enlightenment.
While giving the mantra Shiva spoke:
“This mantra will develop humanity into a being of light”.
Therein lies the infinite power of this mantra. Every person can reach the highest level of the soul with it. The mantra connects you with the divine light, the highest power and the vibration of the universe. Life arises from this light – it is the origin of everything.
The meaning of the light mantra
The light mantra is as follows:
Arut Perum Jyoti
Arut Perum Jyoti
Thani Perum Karunai
Arut Perum Jyoti
Arut can be translated as “the highest”. Perum stands for the highest unconditional love and Jyoti denotes the very highest light our souls can reach. Thani Perum Karunai means “Merge with me. Let this light and this infinite energy shine in me and unfold completely.
The divine light of the origin
The light is also called “light of mercy”. It is a light of unconditional love and purity. It can dissolve karma, make mental and physical pain disappear, and release blockages. In its purest effect, the light leads to the highest form of Samadhi: the light-body process. Then the body dissolves – without dying – and becomes one with the divine light.
