Duckman and George ‘The Animal’ Peel are back to bring you news and show reviews in the weird world of pro wrestling. It’s a pro wrestling podcast, with a decidedly Scottish flavour. On the show this week…

The lads have watched SO MUCH WRESTLING over the past two weeks and this is a monster show covering everything. There’s been some big news stories recently including the introduction of WWE’s Thunderdome, the horrible story involving Sonya Deville and Jim Cornette’s ridiculous comments on it, and the news of Renee Young leaving WWE. The lads give their take on three big and very different wrestling news stories.

Then it’s show review time as the lads talk Summerslam and Takeover. All the matches, finishes and angles are covered here. George hates Sasha Banks, the lads can’t believe how nerdy Byron Saxton is, there’s lots of love for Drew McIntyre v Randy Orton. Plus on Takeover Duckman puts over Pat McAfee, but George still isn’t so keen. There’s so much love for Timothy Thatcher v Finn Balor and the ladder match, in fact bar the main event, everything on Takeover gets a thumbs up. It’s safe to say the lads enjoyed Takeover a lot more than Summerslam, and the reviews of both shows are super fun.

The show is wrapped up as always with the Random Retro PPV Review. This week it’s an absolute comedic classic with WCW’s Superbrawl 3 from 1993. Eric Watts the over pushed and hated son of the booker takes centre stage, so does Max Payne – a fat, useless guitar playing sack of crap. Plus Cactus Jack being awesome, Sting v Vader in a brutal strap match that has one of the weirdest hype video builds of all time, plus Ric Flair is back, Great Muta does cool stuff and on commentary Jesse Ventura and Tony Schiavone are the absolute highlight of the show. The lads are left in tears of laughter during this review, a real SATP highlight.

So sit back, relax and get some SATP goodness in your life. Thanks for listening, spread the word of the show and all that good stuff.
