Primitive Encounters is a collective consciousness of three individuals. Three minds sharing the idea of music representing the deepest and darkest corners of our consciousness. In 2011, Mohit Maini, Angelo V. and Mark Folo all came together in the studio for the first time; sharing similar past experiences and perspectives, created a metaphysical bond that drove us to create a sonic experience that binds our conscious to the listener. Using modern synthesis, with blended organics and keeping a grip on our roots, we create an intimate ambience, to tickle all your senses. From heavy basslines to rib-shattering kicks, Hi-tech melanchonic melodies to watery acid lines, indian sitar, tumbi, dholki to real world sounds, Primitive Encounters gives you music that is dancy, trippy, deep and nostalgic.

Keeping it original, we strive to create all our sounds from scratch. We love to work with timbres, harmonics and spatial depth in all our tracks, hence immersing you in the field of vibrations from the music. We aim to challenge your ears, use the full potential of your hearing ability to provide you an unheard of sonic experience.

In March 2012, Chillin Music signed Primitive Encounters for their debut EP release. Alongside the single releases from Lucid recordings and Un_scene Records. With the releases planned out, we are focusing on our Live performance for our future shows. Stay tuned for upcoming releases and we hope to see you on the dance floor.
