The Wisconsin State Fair is just around the corner and attendees can expect some exciting new attractions, as well as traditional favorites. The fairgrounds are set to welcome visitors from all over and there are plenty of ways to save on admission.

Jen Puente, Chief Marketing Officer for the Wisconsin State Fair Park, is excited to announce that the fair will feature 105 new food items this year. There is also a new attraction called Cirque at the Fair that is free with admission.

For those looking to save on admission, there are plenty of deals available. On opening day, attendees can get in for just $5 if they bring in non-perishable food items. Educators Day, thanks to Prairie Farms Dairy, offers great deals on Thursday August 10. There are also deals for kids with the Milwaukee Bucks on August 8.

A key change with the daily deals this year is that Veterans and Military Recognition Day has been moved to the first Sunday of the fair. Veterans can get in for free, plus three family members until 4 pm on Sunday, August 6th.
