Meet the rare dairy breed, Kerry Cows. The Kerry are believed to be one of the oldest dairy breeds, originating from Ireland. One of just two rare Celtic Kerry herds call Grace Acres Farms home. Owner JT Price tells Mid-West Farm Report about the breed.

Market advisor John Heinberg with Total Farm Marketing in West Bend says the tropical storm in California has boosted milk prices. This week, attention is on the heat and developing storms in Texas. Price support for grain has to come from exports, but the U.S. prices are expensive compared to grain from South America, meaning U.S. grain is less attractive. Figures are coming in from the Pro Farmer Tour happening across the Midwest.
