It's a foundation you may not have heard much about - but it's a foundation that's having an impact in rural communities across Wisconsin. Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation, Inc. (WROF)

The WROF was originally formed to “rehabilitate individuals and families as self-sustaining human beings by enabling them to secure subsistence and gainful employment from the soil.”  That was during the Great Depression!

This core mission – to enable the human spirit to accomplish dreams and goals in the agricultural enterprise and in small rural communities – remains today with “rehabilitation” more accurately defined as “education”.

Sue Schultz, WROF board member, visits with Pam Jahnke about amazing scholarships that are available now for youth that want to return to Wisconsin's rural communities.
