This is a program where we appreciate music as art. Here in Canada, we have an annual prize called the POLARIS and it is the ultimate award for artistic excellence in Canadian music. The short list has been released for this year, and we're using the first half hour of the episode to play you a tune from each of the 10 albums on that list. Lots of shows will be showcasing music from the Polaris short list over the coming weeks, but none of them are gonna do it like this. Our host, GOBS, makes it all flow into a journey by DJ for adventurous late-night music lovers!The second half of the program is spent giving thanks to, and playing requests from, people that contributed to our MATCHED DONATION FUNDRAISER for BLM CANADA.
