MMO Weekly is our weekly news & variety show designed to cover the news of Hollywood, and it’s usually a fast paced, fun time in terms of preparation, recording, & we hope, listening. But when we have serious news to cover, it’s unfortunately a much more serious show. So there is a trigger warning in effect for the first segment here as we cover the horrible stories around the allegations of sexual misconduct against Chris D’Elia, those of sexual assault against Ansel Elgort, and the charges of rape against Danny Masterson. How has Hollywood reacted? How should they treat these accused individuals moving forward? & how should we cover it? We’re always looking for ways to grow & educate ourselves. So as always, do please speak your truths to us.

In a Box Office Update, we discuss two major stories as well. First of all, why the hell was Gone With The Wind atop recent VOD sales charts? & how should we discuss the historical context of “classic” films? Then we break down the stories regarding how major movie theater chains plan to reopen in July.

The last two segments play much more like typical MMOW ones as we dive into a What We’re Watching segment that reviews everything from The Dead Zone to Clemency to BBC’s Luther to Dan Harmon movies. Then we enjoy a DYC segment where we recap a ton of film production & casting announcements from new Evil Dead & Children of the Corn movies to Viggo’s next project with Peter Farrelly to Kristen Stewart’s casting as Princess Dianna.
