It’s the pod that was promised, and then promised again and again and again. Perhaps we should have just kept stringing you along until you eventually realized it would never come. Find out which one of us wanted this. But ce la vie, the other one of us won this benign debate because he bottom line is, we have another probable Oscar nominee to discuss - Isle of Dogs.

Our production profile breaks down the family friends and industry connections of Wes Anderson, and we realize that none other than Bob Balaban might be one of the most important. The box office was weirdly symmetrical, and we ask questions about who actually saw the film as a means to understand the script.
