Reality has sucked when your Moviepass card doesn’t work, but we’ve still been watching movies. It’s time we gave you a full breakdown of the Moviepass Saga, and it has been quite a “saga.” “This has been a disaster,” in the words of our host Mike 1. We chronicle each stage of what’s been happening with Moviepass.

Like every Shakespearean tragedy, this saga has three acts. There’s a meteoric rise, there’s hubris and conflict, and then of course, a terrible cathartic fall from grace. Moviepass is still alive (for now... when we recorded the episode), but does it have a chance to escape it’s nightmare on the stock market? Can it rebound, adjust it’s business model, and save what has been proven to be an attractive product? We discuss and debate it all here.

We’ve enjoyed these Hollywood News episodes and halfisodes. These two Mikes have fixed the Oscars once and for all in episode 92. We also have monthly Hollywood Hot Takes (HHTs) in our catalog.
