They’re finally here! It felt like Christmas morning as we unwrapped all of the Academy Award Nominations. Though some of our stockings were filled with coal, others brought us tidings of great joy. I don’t know how to break from this holiday metaphor. So I'd better get to our episode format.

This show breaks down category by glorious category (with 1 exception), but we also answered those 5 Golden Questions from our preview episode from last week. How many Best Pictures did we get? Did the locks all come through? Who were the snubs? Who surprised? And which movies showed the most strength in the nominations tally?

As I wrote above, we forgot one category in supporting actor. Chalk it up to the lack of sleep, chalk it up to all the work we’ve been doing, or just chalk it up to the chalk of the category as my 5 came through?! IDK why my brain works the way it does. But we were rushing to record ASAFP, and yeah, we forgot to address supporting actor. To make it up to ya, we’ll have a full category overview pod coming soon.
