Dr. Vince Akimoto (MD), partner and physician of Guam Medical Center,  joins us in the Minty Fresh studio (via stream) to address the recent descent of Guam from Pandemic Condition of Readiness (PCORE) 4 to 1 due to 105 new positive cases of Coronavirus on the island (August 20, 2020). Recorded on Friday, August 21 just before the islandwide lockdown took effect, Dr. Akimoto shares his candid thoughts on the virus, its on-going threat to our community and what he thinks will turn things around. Dr. Akimoto holds no punches on where he thinks the Government of Guam has failed and praises areas they have done well. The conversation is funny, bold and brash. We'd expect nothing less from the one and only Dr. Akimoto.
