University of Melbourne Professor Vicki Anderson spoke to the program about new research which concludes that a third of kids develop mental health problems after concussion. The study found that problems could persist for several years post-injury. As a result, the researchers are calling for mental health to be evaluated as part of standard pediatric concussion assessment and management.
