The guys are back and have another week of content as the NHL offseason continues to roll on. They have a few signings to take a look at before they get started. Including Anthony Mantha and his new deal. The guys break down each signing and give their thoughts on it from a team and player perspective.

After that, Alex and Chace switch to take a look at NHL Team futures. The guys start with the best five teams going forward. What does this mean? The guys look at it from a standpoint of taking over a team now, which teams would you most want to have for the long-term? Teams like the Tampa Bay Lightning get a bit of a dock because if they win another Stanley Cup in the next year or two, you're not getting credit for that. However, teams like the Carolina Hurricanes look like they might be built for long-term success.

After that, they do the exact same thing but take a look at teams they would least like to take over. Generally, these are teams that have an ugly cap sheet with multiple players signed for five or more years well into their 30's. However, there are also some cases where the team is just in such a mess now, it doesn't make sense to take them over. Tune in for all of this and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast.
