Midseason NHL Awards, Canucks Hirings, and Kane/Carter Deals - a podcast by mnmhockeypodcast

Alex and Chace are back with a very busy week of content. To start, they look to the ECHL and its season-long suspension for a racist gesture. After discussing that, they switch to the Vancouver Canucks hiring a new General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Looking at where the team goes from here and asking the question, does another full rebuild need to happen? As well as an Evander Kane deal and a Jeff Carter extension. Breaking down what it means for each respective team. One deal is unsurprising but disappointing, the other is very surprising and leads to some different questions being asked. 

Finally, they get to their NHL Awards as the middle of the season is here. Alex and Chace give their winners and runner-ups for all the big awards. That includes Hart, Vezina, Norris, Calder, Jack Adams, and Selke awards. Discussing why they selected who they did and what each player has accomplished up to this point in time. Let them know if you agree or disagree with their selections.
