That is how it felt when Nikki and Y met. The instant connection of finding a fellow autism mom who understood the struggle, which is far more gratifying than a slice of cheesecake. We are two mother united in challenging the norm on how society views dis-abilities and those parenting loved ones with unique challenges.  Nikky and Y share their path in battling IEP (Individual Educational Plan/Special Education), waiting list for services and making demand to help find resource for out babies.  But most importantly creating a mom-hood so deeply needed in a space that feels all so lonely.
