Word of Faith, this is something that sounds good, sounds Biblical. Kenneth Copeland teaches that we, like God, have the ability to speak reality into existence when we speak in faith. God can say let there be light....so why can't we?

Thus faith becomes a force that allows us to speak prosperity into our lives.

Kenneth and other Word of Faith preachers even go further saying that

'it's only sin that keeps us trapped in poverty or anything less than abundant wealth'.

However when you read the bible..... and I'm pretty sure Kenneth has the same one in his hands which says God will be with us even in our darkest and poorest times

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you (God) are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Deuteronomy 31:6,8 Be strong and bold; have no fear or dread of them, because it is the Lord your God who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

God doesn't talk about material wealth....hes talking about eternal wealth that can't rot, even in the darkest place you could find yourself in.
