After racing the first edition and getting a top 20 finish, Gary stumbled into this position due to a little free time on his hands and the ability to run a manual typewriter. Tune in to hear the evolution of the race and bikes, his induction in to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, and how he has come to run the race for 34 of the 35 years it has been going.
